Spotlight on – DS Pre-Connect
What is Pre-Connect?
DS Pre-Connect is our active, pre-connected, gigabit internet solution for multi tenancy residential and commercial buildings.
We work with the landlord / managing agent to plan and build a state of the art, future proofed, full fibre network with a fibre connection to every office, apartment, retail unit or work space.
We pre-install the necessary equipment required and link it all up to the internet via our preferred ISP. This gives the landlord / managing agent and existing or prospective tenants the peace of mind that they can access gigabit internet from the day they move in.
Our Pre-Connect solution helps to avoid many of the hurdles and frustrations that can be experienced by tenants when renting a new home or work space which provides a real advantage in a very challenging property rental market.
As well as gigabit internet, our pre-connected network can also support many other IP based systems such as CCTV, access control, landlord services and much more. This reduces the amount of cabling required within the building and consolidates services.
Community Fibre
DS Networks have a proven track record of delivering high quality, gigabit capable fibre networks as part of a number of community lead projects.
Working closely with the communities, principal clients, the ISP and our own suppliers we have already delivered the networks to support gigabit internet services to a large number of residential and commercial customers in rural Northumberland.
Our turnkey solutions have allowed us to design, plan, build and commission these customer connections. We have installed 100’s of meters of duct, 1000’s of meters of cable and all of the necessary joints, patch panels, switches and customer end equipment to enable communities realise the power of gigabit internet.
